SPRING BREAK ART CAMP

Spring Break Art Camp

March 30 – April 3
Full Day 9 AM – 3 AM

Ages 5-12

Arts in the Middle Ages

Step back in time for a week of knights, castles, and mythical creatures.

During this immersive spring break camp, students will explore the art, culture, and daily life of the Middle Ages. From illuminated manuscripts to heraldic shields, this week blends history, imagination, and hands-on art making.

Camp Themes Include:

  • Vikings and medieval life

  • Castles and architecture

  • Churches and stained glass

  • Map making and exploration

  • Heraldry and family crests

  • Illuminated letters and manuscripts

  • Tapestries and pattern design

  • Armor and medieval design

  • Falconry and royal banquets

  • Dragons, unicorns, and legendary creatures

 

Art Projects May Include:

  • Drawing and painting

  • Embossing techniques

  • Printmaking

  • Working with clay

  • Handmade books and illuminated pages

 

Students will experiment with a wide range of materials while learning about the rich visual traditions of the Middle Ages in a fun, creative, and age-appropriate way.
