ART GALLERY

Welcome to the SAAC Sack art project series! Until we are able to mix and mingle for in-person classes, we are pleased to offer a series of art projects that you can do at home. We hope you will join us in creating art and learning about the history and influences of

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  1. Sign up!  Just send an email to director@saartcenter.org letting us know the name(s) of your participating kids.

  2. Select a pick-up time!  Project plans and basic supplies are available for pick-up at the R.R. Smith Center (SAAC offices). Once you've emailed to confirm interest, you will be asked to select a pick-up time (generally in the afternoon from Tuesday through Thursday.) There is some flexibility so feel free to ask.

  3. Make art! The sack will have enough materials for students to create each weekly project.  Students are free to add their own materials to make their pieces their own.

  4. Take a pic!  We will feature an online gallery for kids to display their work.  We will share on our website/social media, which in turn can be shared with friends and family near and far!

  5. Sign up for the next week! This program is designed as a series. However, each week's activity is a complete project into itself. Just let us know each week if you want the next week's project.

PARTICIPATION IS  LIMITED TO THE AVAILABILITY OF SUPPLIES, SO REGISTER EARLY!

WHAT ABOUT COST?

SAAC Sack is pay-as-you-will! This summer has been tough on our economy and non-profits are struggling to keep afloat.  But we want to ensure that EVERY child can participate!  If you are able to contribute to the cost of printing and supplies, we would appreciate your support.  It's amazing how far just a few dollars will go to help cover these costs!
