Saturdays | Ages 5–12 | $25 per class
 
Art Lab is our revolving Saturday studio program, open to single-class sign-ups. Classes are held from 10am-noon on participating Saturdays. Each class introduces a different artist and technique, building real studio skills through sports, printmaking, and collage themes across the fall season.

Sept 12 — Diving, inspired by David Hockney, design/ink/watercolor
Sept 19 — Bike Racing, inspired by Jean Metzinger, pastels and charcoal
Oct 3 — Basketball, inspired by Kadir Nelson, drawing and gouache
Oct 10 — Racing & Hunting, inspired by George Stubbs, horse drawing
Oct 17 — Baseball, inspired by Marjorie Phillips, action drawing to painting
Printmaking Workshop
Oct 24 — Foam Engraving, inspired by José Guadalupe Posada Aguilar, Day of the Dead
Nov 7 — Experimental Inductive Techniques, multimedia string printing
Nov 14 — Experimental Deductive Techniques, landscape block printing
Careful Collage Workshop
Nov 21 — Toulouse-Lautrec Poster Art, tempera paint and collage
Dec 5 — Corita Kent, social justice-inspired graphic design and collage
No classes during the Mischief & Magic festival, on Halloween, or Thanksgiving weekend.
