From now until the end of June, the Staunton Augusta Art Center (SAAC) and Staunton Downtown Development Association (SDDA) are hosting weekly art challenges. These events are FREE and open to artists of all levels and ages. Each week we will post a prompt, participants will submit images of their art, then viewers will vote for their favorite submission of the week.

Did we mention that weekly winners will receive this fabulous t-shirt?!

CONTEST RULES

Prompts will be given every Monday. Images of work are due by the following Sunday.
All submitted images will be posted anonymously for the public to view. Polls will open on Monday and close the following Sunday (one week after the pieces are due).
The contest will run until the end of June 2020.
You can use any visual art medium (paint, crayon, pencil, clay, playdoh, etc.)
You can submit an art piece every week, but you can only win a shirt ONCE.
This is a family-friendly event, so no nudity please!
Submissions may include a short description/explanation (under 50 words).
Minors must have parents submit a permission form with their first submission (form coming soon).

T-Shirt Fund

Due to fundraising and event cancellations, this has been a tough spring for non-profits. If you are able to help us cover the cost of t-shirt printing, we would be most appreciative!
