This club is for self-motivated art lovers who need a space to spread out and work among their peers as they explore new media and techniques. This class is geared toward middle school students, but we will accept younger students who are able to work independently, as well as high school students who need space to complete portfolio assignments for college admissions. Weekly emphasis on different media, themes or materials will inspire new understandings and provide opportunities for students to explore.

An instructor is in the studio each day and available to assist as needed. They will demonstrate new techniques and model safe handling of materials, but there will be no formal lesson that all students must complete. Instead, each student is able to explore as desired and continue to develop skills in their area of interest, while being encouraged to explore new media and techniques and relate them to their field.
